GIMS Beam Plot

The GIMS Beam Plot can be run using one of the following methods:

The GIMS Beam Plot will automatically search for all of the beams contained within the data specified by the selected item of the output pane. It is a good idea to refine the data as much as possible before performing a GIMS Beam Plot to minimise the number of beams found.

For example, ask for all Satellite Network Names contained within a database. Then perform a GIMS Beam Plot. You will be presented with the following window, containing all of the beams that specific network has filed:

Next, select the beam you wish to view from the list. On the right of the window you will see all the available options for that beam.

Select which plots you want to see and then click on the 'Plot' button.

GIMS will then launch containing the beam plots you selected.

Note: You must have the ITU software GIMS fully installed for this link up feature to work. We also cannot guarantee that the GIMS link up will work with all versions of GIMS, although we endeavor to update the software to maintain compatibility.
