Backup Software Status can be reached by clicking on the 'File' menu item, and then clicking on 'Backup Software Status'.
You can either create a backup, or restore a previously created backup.
This feature allows you to backup all of your software settings to external files, or restore your settings back to those that were backed up.
This is useful if you are going to reinstall Sat-Coord, or wish to make major changes to your settings and want to have a backup in case of problems.
If you create many new searches, filters, or spend considerable time organising your searches pane it is recommended you backup your software status once in awhile.
