Apply Search To Each Child

The apply search to each child property can be turned on/off using one of the following methods:

• Click on the menu item 'Options' and then click on 'Apply Search To Each Child'
• Click on the icon in the toolbar.
• Click on the word 'ALL' in the status bar

When the apply search to each child property is set, and subsequently search you perform will be performed on all children of the item you selected in the output pane.

This is useful if you wish to perform a specific search on every item.

EXAMPLE

Retrieve every administration from the SRS, then retrieve all of the networks filed by VTN:

Next turn on the apply search to each child property. Make sure the parent of the items you wish to perform the search on is selected. For this example, I will perform the Orbital Position search to each child. Apply search to each child property much be on, and then perform a search as usual.

As can be seen from above, the orbital position has been found for each of the children items of VTN.
