The searches pane is the pane which holds all of the searches you can perform using SatQuery.
When you first run SatQuery, the searches pane will contain all of the default searches.
Below is an example showing a typical searches pane when you first run SatQuery.
The searches pane can hold folders, and searches as seen in the example above. You should use folders to organise your searches so that they are easier to find.
Whenever you wish to perform a search on a database, you must first select the database you wish to perform the search on from the output pane, and then click on the search you wish to perform and then click on the 'Apply Search' menu item within Searches. You can also double click on a search to perform it.
The menu item 'Searches' holds most of the commands applicable to the searches pane. This menu can also be reached by right clicking on an item in the searches pane.
