Hi! Pls show me how can i caculate uplink EIRP per carrier ?( in oder to define HPA size). Thanks

This is a bit too complex for an answer in the forums.   I'll try and write a brief explanatory note and post it in the satellite school or presentations section of the site.

Thanks Mark, I hope I receive your explanation as soon as possible.  In your brief, please show me  relations:  HPA backoff, number of carriers, C/N and Allocated Bandwidth.

Hi HaDang,

I will do it as soon as I can, but please be patient because I am pretty busy!

In the meantime I suggest that you download the demo copy of SatMaster Pro from http://www.satmaster.com and there you can set up your link budget and it will do the calculations for you.   Of course you won't get the explanation as to *why* it does what it does, but it might help you until I find time to put an article together.
